Has anyone traveled via train between Graz and Vienna recently? I originally booked my ticket from Vienna to Krakow allowing for a two hour break in my trip between Graz and Vienna however, due to the track repairs and where passengers have to transfer off the train to a bus I am unsure if this is enough time. I am hoping to hear from a community member who has recently traveled this route to give insight into the approximate time this transfer adds to the original trip. Thanks in advance for any insight provided.

What is the exact route you want to travel? Graz is not on the way between Vienna and Krakow.
At what specific date you want to go?

If you were travelling Graz to Krakow you should have booked Graz to Krakow, and not Graz to Vienna, and Vienna to Krakow. And certainly not with a 2 hour break in Vienna. What were you planning to do there? Booking this on one booking would have been cheaper. And you might have noticed there is a direct train...
But even with separate bookings the connection is still protected. And would have been even if you had only planned 10 minutes between trains in Vienna. Train travel is not like air travel.
Now what day are you travelling on? If it is only in a few weeks time you can expect the trip planner on www.oebb.at to show actual trip times, so that should give you an idea if your original plan still works. It probably will, because it is unlikely that you will be delayed by 2 hours.
