Public Transportation in Salzburg

Hello,

I will be in Salzburg (first time) in December. I had the following questions:

I am thinking of purchasing a Salzburg Verkehr 24-hour day ticket to cover transportation to Mirabell Palace, Salzburg Cathedral, Dom and Residenzplatz Christmas market. But I wasn't sure if public transportation to these areas would be included in Regional Zone 1 or not. Can anyone confirm? The link to the Zone Maps PDF on the Salzburg Verkehr site does not seem to work for me
I am traveling to Untersberg on a separate day and am buying a Salzburg Card for that. I know the cable car is covered within the Salzburg Card, but would transportation to Untersberg also be covered within the card?

All those places are included in the central zone, but do compare maps with your ability to walk and see if you need to get buses. Central Salzburg isn't especially large.

The Salzburg Card leaflet specifically says that the bus to Untersberg from the centre is included.

There is no zone 1 as far as I can see, but the city zone (Salzburg Stadt) covers the city and a bit of surrounding areas, including Freilassing and the valley station for Untersbergbahn.
