Problems using the Austria OBB website

I'm having lots of trouble with OBB train website.
The first problem is not being able to log into my account. The webpage will not let me type in my email nor my password. I've registered, but something is wrong (either me or the website).

Next, is there any place on the website that has a map of the train routes?
Specifically, I would like to take the Semmering train route from Vienna, and end in Graz.
I can't figure out a way to specify that I don't want the fast train--I want the scenic route. When I enter "Vienna" as the beginning point, and Graz as the terminus, I cannot figure out which train is the Semmering train.

I also am trying to figure out trains from Salzburg to Metz.

And then, of course, I can't buy tickets because I can't log into the site!

On the OBB website you can go to the route planner for Vienna to Graz and see the train routes. Click on the "down arrow" button on the right side of the itinerary to see the map and the stations that the train stops at along the way.

As for logging in, try the App on your phone instead of a browser.

Another possibility is to use a different browser.

To force OeBB to give you routing through Semmering, click on "Connections" beneath the From/To and date entry boxes. In the pop-up, look for "Via" with little up and down caret marks. Click on "Via" and enter Semmering and then click on Search.

All trains from Vienna to Graz use the scenic Semmering route across the mountains. (The Semmering tunnel is expected to be in operation 2030.)

If you enter Salzburg as starting point and Melk as the destination the OeBB website should show you the train connections. Make sure you have unchecked "direct trains only", because there are no direct trains (one change needed).

What does the website do to prevent you from typing?

The box having "Email Address" is not fillable: I cannot type anything into it.

What I had to do with TrenItalia last year was use the app on my phone using data instead of logging onto the site on my computer. Apparently TrenItalia and Cox cable have an issue.
I don’t know if that is your problem but it’s worth a try.

That looks like an issue at your end. What browser/computer/operating system are you using?

Thanks to all!

I tried two different browsers: Chrome and regular Google.
However, I found that I could log in on the phone app. Thank you!

Also, last night the website came up differently, and I could find the route on the website.
Perhaps OBB is re-doing their website.

Anyhow, I think I can work around the problems by looking up information on the website, and then using the app to buy tickets.
