What do you need a taxi for?

My husband is handicapped

Does he use a wheelchair? Are you concerned about walking long distances? Are you hoping that the taxi will take you from site to site, or just longer distances, such as to/from the airport?

No he walks w/a cane.slow but able to walk short distance then needs a rest. No group tours. Third time in Vienna so have seen lots .. want to go to Schonbrunn Palace on Sunday then to Schubel-Auber for late lunch..Also want to go to Mauthausen Concentration Camp.

Why not just contact your hotel or AirBNB host for assistance?

Trying to get info on the driver that Rick Steves recommended.. Have a guide thru our hotel but was looking for a comparison

I did a google search for this guy and cannot find him. The Rick Steves info on him is about 8 years old, so he might not even be in business anymore.

I'd suggest just getting a cab as you need it within Vienna. If you have a smart phone, Uber works very well here and is cheap.

For getting to Mauthausen, I'd suggest that you ask your hotel for car recommendations.
