Places to eat in Vienna

For a tourist wishing for a taste of Vienna, I would suggest Figlmuller, Palmenhaus and Heuriger Schuebel-Auer. I would also throw in coffee and cake at Demel, Cafe Hawelka and Sperl. A breakfast on Saturday morning at Neni's in the Naschmarkt is also not be a bad thought.

Agree with Figlmuller- be sure and get a reservation ahead of time and know that they serve neither beer nor coffee! Great schnitzel and wine, though, and reasonably priced.
