Hello fellow travelers! I appreciate the consistently thoughtful replies to questions asked in Rick's Travel Forum and am looking forward to your help here. I will be spending 4 nights in Vienna in May 2023. I am a spry 63 single woman who enjoys solo travel but have injured my left knee so anticipate walking a bit less than normal on this trip. I have booked accommodations at both of the above hotels and am torn between them. I want to be close to above-ground public transport and expect to spend most of my time in the 1st and 2nd districts. Which would you prefer or do you think a different hotel would be better for me? Thanks in advance for the feedback and suggestions.
I think I may be the only person on the RS forum who has ever stayed here, but I loved the Hotel Rathaus in 2015. It's in an old building, but all modernized inside. I checked the current reviews, and they are consistent with my experience.
I've stayed at Pension Suzanne and liked it quite a bit. I have not stayed at Hotel Domizil, but I like its location.
I loved my solo stay in a single room at Pension Suzanne. I enjoyed the elegance of the building and the charm of the furnishings in the breakfast room and my room, which was surprisingly large for a single:

I recall there was a slow-ish elevator. The perfect manners of the staff made me feel quite welcome. It was a short walk to the opera house and nearby tram stops, which I used for sightseeing around the ring.
I have stayed at Pension Suzanne and would stay there again.
Thank you to all who responded. I appreciate the suggestions and feedback!
