One Day in Innsbruck

My husband and I will be spending one day in Innsbruck in June. We plan to visit the Old Town area.

Is it recommended to go to Nordkettendbahn? Hungerburgbahn? Seegrube Station? Hafelekar Station?

Is a visit to Swarovski Crystal a good use of our time in the area or should we plan to stay in Innsbruck for the day?

We welcome suggestions for a one day trip.

Restaurant recommendations?

Skip Swarovski.

Nordkettendbahn? Hungerburgbahn? Seegrube Station? Hafelekar Station?
These are all parts of the Nordkettenbahn. Hungerburg is the first stop. Seegrube the 2nd stop. Hafelekar the top.

If the weather is nice and you enjoy beauty then I would say a trip up the Nordkettendbahnen is a must-do. I agree with the other poster that Swarovski Crystal is skipable.

I wanted to add that I'd go at least to the Seegrube station. If the weather is bad, visit Schloss Ambras and the Hofkirche and the pedestrian zone of Innsbruck.

There is a Swarowsky shop in the central area, a visit there is more then enough.

The Hofburg (imperial palace) has been recently restored, it is a sort of small version of the Hofburg or Schoenbrunn palaces in Vienna and is incredibly overlooked in many tourist tours. Well worth an hour of your time.
