OBB night train Salzburg or Munich to Ljubljana

Has any one taken this trip? How comfortable are the beds? I would like the cabins that have the bathroom and two lower beds if that is possible. I find the site confusing, can't seem to understand the prices and or sleeping possiblities completely.

That's not an ÖBB NightJet but a Croatian standard sleeper ("Lisinski") whith not more than a washbasin in the cabin. Even toilets are outside. The beds are on top of each other.

Sounds like a crazy idea to me for a distance that would take three hours in the car or four hours by day train, both with fantastic scenery.

Yeah, I was more thinking of the Munich to Ljubljana trip I think.

Hi,

There is a direct EN night train Munich to Ljubljana (Laibach) if you decide on that option.

Munich Hbf is the hub for night trains going south to Italy, Slovenia, Croatia. I've not taken this route. If you have no problems with night trains, (I don't), do it, you're stretching out a travel day.
