I’m looking to take the Nightjet train to Paris from Vienna on Saturday, May 20th. I can see the route available, but it says no offers available for seating. I tried testing some other dates, but is says the same for every option after April 27.
Nightjet says you can book 180 days in advance. Does anyone know if there is a closure or maintenance happening that would be the reason I can’t book?
Assuming you mean Paris, that train does not run daily so there will be no departure on saturdays.
Sorry, I fixed the typo. I can’t find any available seats on any day after April 27. The schedule says it runs on Saturday but I’m open on the day of the week, they just don’t seem to have any tickets available.
My experience in looking for these tickets last summer made me believe that they are in such high demand that they pretty much sell out very soon after they go on sale - because the locals that want them go on and buy them six months ahead of time when they get posted.
I don't know if that's correct, but that is what I think is going on, after having read some about this last summer.

The OP is travelling the other way FROM Vienna TO Paris, so the train does run on Saturday. As of last night there were only seats in coach remaining on sale on the day stated.
Currently it appears nothin is bookable after 27 April. They have obviously not opened booking yet for days after that. These things happen. One would just hope they would communicate this better.

Where have you found that schedule? The train does not depart on Saturdays, although the plan is for it to become daily this year when ÖBB receives new coaches.
But contacting ÖBB and asking them is probably a good idea.
I'm not sure why it's been said twice that the train does not run to Paris on a Saturday when both the nighrjet timetable page and bahn.de say it does.
It is interesting from bahn.de that the Saturday train is cancelled the week before and the week after, and there is bus replacement those weeks, on a far longer multi train alternative.
However pending a reply from nightjet there is an alternative sleeper open for booking now - the MAV (Hungarian Railways) Euronight from Vienna at 2312, change at Stuttgart at 9am next morning onto a TGV, arrive Paris at 1230 on Sunday.
Thanks to Kim from Paris for the advice Nightjet sells out so get on it early, particularly for summer trips. I need to book NJ for an an upcoming August trip, and I've had it filed under the mental tab "book train tickets a couple months out."
But of course it's going to sell out given how limited the beds are, either that or you're not going to get the type of bed you want, or will have to room with strangers if that's not your thing.
So thanks very much for the advice to book NJ trains sooner than other trains!
