We will be arriving in Vienna early on New Year’s morning. Although we are not lucky enough to have tickets for the Vienna Philharmonic concert which evidently plays from 11am -1pm,, we would love to hear a broadcast in the company of others on a tv screen, perhaps in a nice hotel lobby or at a brunch, but I can’t find any information on this. Can anyone recommend such a venue?
There are two venues where the New Year's Concert is publicly broadcast for free:

(see the open air section)
I don't know anything about relating in-door events, which might exist very likely.
Thank you. I knew the New Year’s Eve concert was broadcast on a large screen on one of the squares, but I couldn’t tell if the same was true for the New Year’s Day concert. The Wein website seems unclear to me on that question, but I am going to have to assume there is an outdoor broadcast on New Year’s Day.
Do what Viennese do and go to the Rathaus for the jumbotron broadcast and waltz in the square. I know that’s where I’ll be.
The famous concert is on New Years Day. I am unaware of any well known New Years Eve concert. Not sure what you’re talking about.

The New Year's Concert is also played as "Silvesterkonzert" on December 31st (see Musikverein homepage). Besides that there are public rehearsals, too. But no chance to get tickets.
Thanks wmt1 - I only have ever know this as a New Year's Day concert as that is when it is famously broadcast around the world.
@Emily - you are welcome.
If you participate in the raffle for next year's tickets you can see that there are three performances of this concert, but only the last one on January 1st is well known.

Emily, the Jumbotron transmission at the Rathaus that you refer to, is that actually on New Years Day at the 11am concert? That is what I have been trying to find out, as I thought (mistakenly?) that transmission was only on New Years Eve. If so, you have made my day!
Yes, I can confirm that the concert is broadcast on Jan. 1 in the mid-morning live at the Rathaus.
Here is the text from the link below which outlines all activities:
New Year's Day in Vienna will be greeted in classic fashion with a
morning "hangover cure" brunch - featuring a live broadcast of the
Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Concert on a big screen - in front of
City Hall (from 10 a.m.)
Wow! Thank you again. I am a pretty good researcher, but I completely missed the sentence about the “hangover brunch” at the Rathaus.
