What roads would you recommend to take for sightseeing? Any advice where to stay overnight closer to Krakow? We will be leaving Munich early morning. Thank you!

In order to recommend sightseeing on the way we need to know how many days you have for this trip.

The direct route is about 900 km (560 miles), i.e. at least 10 hours driving full speed on the Autobahn, without having considered traffic jams, road construction, stops for refuelling, lunch, etc.
What do you mean with "sightseeing"? Just landscape, or cities, mountains, lakes? There is so much worth visiting along this route.
