Any thoughts on staying in a convent or monastery in Salzburg? we are looking for something historic as our other reservations are in an AIRBNB in Prague
I've stayed at the Gästehaus in Priesterseminar Salzburg twice. There is no air conditioning. The temperature hit 90 during a July 2014 stay, but I managed okay. I also stayed in December 2016. Rooms are pretty basic; they come with a cross over the bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower. No tv. There is a nice courtyard. Breakfast is a standard Austrian spread with cheese, meat, fresh bread, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, fruit, and vegetables. There is usually (but not always) an English speaker at the desk.
