Mirabell Palace Concert: Dress code and etiquette?

We'll be attending a concert at Mirabell Palace in a few weeks but are packing light and likely won't have dress clothes. Is there a dress code for attending a concert? We're likely have have hiking/travel pants and button up hiking shirts. Is this appropriate? Are there any other tips for etiquette you would guve us? Thank you.

That is great to read. I usually have a shirt or two like that when I travel, but have also never been to a concert like this. Thank you for the advice.

We attended a concert there a couple years ago dressed in hiking pants (or perhaps it was casual travel slacks) and tennis shoes. We had taken the bus to Berchtesgaden that day, and went to the concert straight off the bus. There were some folks more dressed up, and some more casual. As for etiquette -- we have found that the European concert-goers are well versed in never clapping between movements of a classical piece. Just watch the lead musician and take your cue from him/her.
