My husband and I are in our mid-60's and will have 4-5 days in June 2018 to spend doing easy hikes in the Tirol. We will have a car. It's hard to find information about which area has the prettiest walks with the least amount of effort. We just can't do what we used to. We have been to various parts of the Alps on previous vacations (Dolomites, Chamonix, Zermatt, Wengen, Pontresina, Bavaria), so it's time for a new area. I can't do anything steep going uphill anymore and the walk has to be 4 hours maximum. What do you recommend? Should we stay in one town or 2? We would like to see the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, unless you think it's really not that spectacular. Thanks!
We stayed in "Seefeld in Tirol" at this place already several times:

(The link is merely for the description; we booked by calling the owners and writing e-mails.)
I think you'll benefit from ordering this book:

This is the older used copy for a couple of bucks. Lipton has newer versions if you want to spend more.
We enjoyed our 10 days in the PillerseeTal (Plllersee Valley) of the Kitzbühel district of Tyrol late January/early February of 2014. The PillerseeTal is actually two valleys intersecting at the town of Fieberbrunn. We arrived from Salzburg by train. As a guest of one of the Pillerseetal Fieberbrunn hotels we had free use of the local bus system.

In the PillerseeTal, even your car can go on holiday! Because with the
great offers of bus and train, you can travel the Kitzbühel Alps in an
uncomplicated and environmentally friendly way. With your valid guest
card from the PillerseeTal you have the buses between Hochfilzen and
Waidring as well as all commuter trains (except IC, EC and RailJet)
between Hochfilzen and Wörgl (Kirchbichl) included!
We could ride the local bus from Fieberbrunn to Hochfilzen then ski to Sankt Ulrich am Pillersee, then hop the bus to Waidring for a late lunch, the bus back to Fieberbrunn.
Hiking takes the place of cross country skiing during the summer with no car needed:

In PillerseeTal you don't necessarily have to tackle high alpine
routes, you can also hike on the short routes, which still offer
plenty of variety. Challenging summit tours for ambitious mountain
climbers and hikers are also available.Three cable cars Bergbahnen decrease your journey time to the top:
Bergbahn Waidring-Steinplatte, Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn and Bergbahn
Pillersee/BuchensteinwandExtensive leisure opportunities on the mountain for all the family -
Triassic Park in Waidring and Timoks Alm in FieberbrunnVersatile and multi-faceted range of tours, on around 400 kilometres
Signposted hiking trails
GPS compiled Nordic Walking routes
Challenging via ferrata routes and variety-packed climbing routes
Interesting themed and pilgrimage trails (Triassic Trail, Tirol's
