Planning to be in Hallstadt the end of May and beginning of June. How warm / cool can I expect it to be? Will it most likely be sunny or overcast?

"Will it most likely be sunny or overcast?" Flip a coin. There's no way to tell this far in advanced. Late spring, summer and early autumn are sunnier on average than late autumn, winter and early spring. That's about all you can say.
Temperatures are usually neither overly warm or overly cool. It would be reasonable to bring a sweater and windbreaker. You will almost certainly not need a hat and gloves.

Will be the end of winter.. Start of spring.. Like said in above post.. No gloves or hat needed but do take a jumper.. If any snow still around be aware of the very intense sun!!! Can be deceiving so suggest a 30+filter.
Advice fact I am austrian... Dress in layers that time of the year.. Usually it's cold morning and evening but it can warm up to tshirt weather during the afternoon.. Hope this helps.. Happy travelling
