go to the Genuss Festival in the Stadtpark. Entry is free. Farmers, cheesemakers, sausage purveyors, candymakers for every region of Austria come to this festival to offer their wares. Free samples abound. There are also many stalls where themed hot food and drinks are served to a very high standard. This festival is very popular with Viennese.

Everything aligned just right and will be there. Been planning on this for a while. Sounds like a great event.
Went to food festival today after reading Emily's notice. Very beautiful park. Almost all signs in German but many English speaking people as well. 90 vendors there. Seizable crowds. Probably bigger tomorrow and Sunday.
