Marionette performances

I was reading that Salzburg has marionette perfomances and wanted to go see it while there .The site I was checking , says that there are no shows for when I will be in town 1-5 September.
1.Are the marionette perfomances played in Salzburg only ? We go next to Vienna for 3 days .
2.Is there any other way for me to book a ticket? Any other site?
3.Has anybody been for a marionette perfomance ? Did you like it ?

Yes, it looks that the marionette theater is closed most of of September - I guess they are taking their holidays after the hard work in August. I have been there and I liked the show very much.

We saw "The Magic Flute" in Salzburg and it was fun. I think these are fairly common in this part of Europe, even passed by one in Prague.

I had forgotten this, but looks like the Shoenbrunn Palace has one https://www.marionettentheater.at/ They seem to have performances year round, though not every day. They do The Magic Flute among other shows.

I remember the palace being a very nice visit, too.
