especially where we can feed an Alp groundhogs / Marmot.
all the animals - sheep, goats, farms, exc. exc.

You are looking for places with the term "agri-tourismo". We stayed in such a place S of Salzburg, a farm with a ski chalet during the summer. Found it through booking.com. They had sheep, chickens, dogs, cats, which my children really liked.

If you’re looking for more than farm animals Innsbruck has a small zoo that specializes in native species. There is also a zoo in Salzburg and Vienna has the oldest continuously operating zoo in the world as well as an aquarium.

The Herberstein Zoo is very nice. Address: Buchberg 50, A 8223 Stubenberg am See (in Styria). We took our daughter there a long time ago when we were staying with friends in Graz.
