Hello everyone!
I visited Salzburg this past October and had an even better time than I'd imagined. On my last day there I was wandering the streets with no intended destination and found a local liquor manufacturer called Sporer. I went in and sampled a variety of their products and found one they called Elixir that was absolutely incredible and unlike anything I've ever tasted. I'm hoping someone might be able to give me some insight on whether or not the same type of small batch local liquor manufacturers exist in Vienna? And if anyone knows of the Sporer Elixir from Salzburg, I would love to know of similar styles of liquor from anywhere you know of elsewhere in the world.
I'm planning to visit Vienna in the spring of 2025 and would love more insight on the small, local, "off the beaten path" businesses or things to see. I plan to see the main tourist sites too, but I especially love the places that are largely unknown to the world and hard to replicate anywhere else.
