Does anyone know if this route is still under maintenance or if the train is fully running now?

I don't recall when/if it was under maintenance. Was this recent? DB schedules shown the direct regional train running twice daily except Sept. 15.

If parts of the route are under maintenance you will be notified, and you will have to change from the train to a replacement bus and then back to the train.
Generally all train routes are served always, in case of track maintenance partially by means of a bus; a route is never closed completely.
