Hello!
I will be traveling from Innsbruck to Vienna via train arriving at the Wien Westbahnhof train station. Any suggestions on a neighborhood/ location in Vienna for my last night that will make it fairly easy to leave in the morning to go to the airport without actually staying by the airport. Should I stay near the train station?

You can stay anywhere and take a cab to the airport,that is what we do then we can stay in the Ringstrasse area.

I've stayed a couple of times at the Hotel Fuerstenhof right across from Europaplatz in front of the Westbahnhof. It's a small family run hotel that has been in business a long time. To get to the airport, there is the Vienna Airport bus that departs during the day every 30 minutes from Europaplatz about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The fare is 8 euro, which you pay when boarding.
