Innsbruck to various places via public transport

Hi everyone!

I'm lucky enough to be going to Innsbruck in June, it's a dream of mine to go to a mountain...I have incurable cancer and there are a few things I'd really like to check off my Austria bucket list...
I'll be using public transport and could do a one night stop at the right place if it's a couple of hours to get there...
I'd love to see:
Waterfalls (mobility not great so access on level ground/gondolas would be best)
Natural hot springs
Alpine coaster
Gondola
Scenic railway

Thanks for any suggestions guys, much appreciated!

The easiest thing to do is take the cable car on the back of the royal palace/congress house, that leads to a couple of concatenating gondolas that will bring you to the top of the mountain overlooking the city in half an hour. You still need to walk a bit between the upper cable car station and the lower gondola station - say, four minutes walking.

Another easy and fast trip is by tram #6 to Igls.

A scenic railway is ordinary train to Jenbach, then steam rack train to Achensee and then a ferry to the other end of the lake. Little to do there, so go back through the same route.

Catch a bus at the train station to Mieders for the alpine coaster. Easy bus trip right to the Serlesbahn. You'll love it! Also consider Zugspitze as it is relatively close and easily accessible as well from the German side. Take to slow train from Innsbruck to G-P, then a short walk to the train to Zugspitze. Half day journey. Stop in Seefeld on the way back for more great views.
