You do not have a choice of carriers. From Innsbruck till the Swiss border it is always going to be ÖBB, the Austrian Railways, and from there onwards till Interlaken it is going to be SBB.

Best place to book is with the ÖBB, at www.oebb.at

Note: Are you going to Interlaken, or to some place actually interesting near Interlaken? Because you can book tickets Innsbruck to anywhere in Switzerland, not just major towns.

And. also, what are your plans here? Do they involve more train travel?

Thank you. We are staying Wilderswil. We want to go up both valleys to visit Jungfrau and the Lauterbrunnen Valley.

I’ve read about different passas to get but am a bit confused as to which one would be best for us. I anticipate we will be on trains and cable cars. I’ll journeys will be day trips.
