We are looking to be in Innsbruck October 21st and are wanting to do the hiking paths at the summit of the Nordkette, but wondering in the past if these have been snowy by that time of year? We have only done the trails in summer before. Thank you!!

I don't have actual Oktober experience, but some light snow on the summit yesterday-today. Maybe contact the Innsbruck tourist office or the Nordkette Headquarters.

Beginning from this week you will see snow caps every morning, with many burning off during the day. But this would make for a muddy and slippery hike.
