Friends, In early October, I will visit Innsbruck for the first time. I like culture and the outdoors. Please suggest highlights or a three-day Itinerary.
Take the Norkettenbahn right outside the old town across from Innsbruck Congress. It’s a three stage trip. You can choose to do stage one, one and two or all three. Stage one… Hungerburgbahn. Then a cable car to the Seegrube Station. Then another cable car to the very top, the Hafelekar Station.
Don’t miss Schloss Ambras. The displays are amazing to say the least. We spent three hours here.
Also the Court Church, also by the Innsbruck Congress.

.
don't forget the Golden shed roof
why did you choose Innsbruck? What caught your eye?
Do you want to spend all the time in the big city, or will you want to get up into the mountains and countryside? For example Seefeld in Tirol or other nearby towns?
The Folk Museum will be interesting if you like regional culture.
As always the Stubaitalbahn to/from Fulpmes. https://www.stubai.at/en/activities/points-of-interest/stubaitalbahn/
The Stubaital is easily accessed from Innsbruck by bus too. Mieders is 30 minutes away: https://www.stubai.at/en/skiing-resorts/serlesbahnen/
Hoadl-Haus Axamer Lizum https://www.axamer-lizum.at/?lang=en
My thing, but when in Innsbruck I stop by the Markthalle Innsbruck and Das Altstadt-Schmankerl.
