Inexpensive hotels in Lucerne

You really need to say what "inexpensive" means to you. Please give a price range.

In the $200.00 range.

jf, you might want to repost this in the Switzerland forum as it is now in the Austria forum. We stayed at the Hotel des Alpes in October for right around $200/night per double room. We chose it for the excellent location, across the bridge from the train station. We saw a lot of less expensive options, so you can probably find something less expensive. Both the Lonely Planet and Rick Steves guides list several to chase down.

Lucern, Switzerland. We spent 3 nights in 2017 at the Waldstaetterhof Swiss Quality Hotel, Lucerne at about $175 USD per night (2 person room, double bed). That included a very nice breakfast and a Lucerne Visitor's Card: https://www.luzern.com/en/footernavigation/services/visitor-card-lucerne/
