I want to take the OEBB Top of Salzburg tour: train from Salzburg to Zell am See, then the bus to Kaprun, then cable up the Kitzsteinhorn, ~3 hours then, cable down, bus from Kaprun to Zell Am See....and stay the night in Zell Am See, return to Salzburg late next day. What i cannot find: how do i know when those buses run to and from Kaprun, and where do i get that bus? Same question for the cable cars - i dont speak German and am afraid i will miss all the connections. Thanks!

I'd go to the Kaprun website and see if they have schedule info. Right now it is prime ski season, so maybe only winter schedules are posted.
I have skied over there many times, and there is always bus service to get around. They encourage people to leave cars at home and leave local transport to them. Reduces pollution and traffic congestion and is well thought out and efficient. This might not be satisfying answer for you. I am just working with a smart phone and can't take time to research it for you now.
