how long do you suggest we need for Switzerald and highlights of Austria?

Are there trains that we could take at night from Geneva to vienna ?
We have 5 full days in Switzerland therefore trying to see if a quick Trip to Austria might be doable.

So you are thinking of taking time from your 5 days in Switzerland to see Vienna? To be blunt, it sounds like a terrible idea. So much to see in Switzerland that 5 days isn't really enough. Spend your time seeing some of Switzerland.

"Are there trains that we could take at night from Geneva to Vienna" - yes, there is a night train from Zürich.

Depart Genève 18:45, Train No. IC 733, arrive Zürich HB 21:28
Depart Zürich HB 21:40, Train No. EN 467, arrive Wien Hbf 07:51

See www.sbb.ch for details.
"We have 5 full days in Switzerland therefore trying to see if a quick Trip to Austria might be doable.". This would not be a quick trip. This is far enough that flying may be better than going by train.

But, the big question is WHY? 5 days is barely enough time for an introduction to Switzerland, you have no spare time for Vienna.
And, if you want to see the best of Switzerland, Geneva is not the place to be. Switzerland's big attraction is mountains, Geneva is a city.

You need to choose somewhere else to stay in Switzerland. The choice of location would depend on where you are coming from before Switzerland, and where you are going afterwards.

Vienna is a long way from Geneva. It is almost 11 hours on fast trains. They are at opposite ends of two countries joined by a relatively short border. If you want to visit another country, you can get to France on a street car from Geneva. Germany and Italy are much closer places to visit.
