how late do trams run?

hello,
In Vienna, I am trying to find out how late on Friday does Tram D run? I have been all over the internet and all i can find is that "buses stop around 00:30 and trams stop earlier."
We will be doing heuriginer that day/evening and where we are ending up the closest transportation back to downtown is Tram D but as I said, I can't find how late it runs. thank you in advance for any assistance.

At the moment it's 2326 British time, so 0026 Vienna time. According to the Wiener Linien website, there are trams on route D leaving Nussdorf for the city centre in 1 minute, 3 minutes, and 8 minutes. So it looks like you won't have too much trouble.

And there are then night buses leaving Nussdorf after the last tram.

Your searching the Internet seems to need some improvement. :-)

Here are the timetables of all tram lines in Vienna:
https://www.wienerlinien.at/eportal3/ep/channelView.do/pageTypeId/66533/channelId/-2000641#2001512

The last tram D, which follows the regular route, departs in Nußdorf at 11:47pm. All later trains, until the very last at 12:33am, service only the interchange station "Spittelau" for metro lines U4 and U6.

As the Heurigen in Vienna traditionally close between 11pm and midnight anyway, you won't be in troubles using public transport.

Heuriger are not really late night activities. The best time to visit is when the sun is still shining, particularly if you are looking to visit the heurigen in Nussdorf which all have lovely gardens.

thank you for the information! it is most helpful. We are planning on getting to that area mid to late afternoon. Just not sure how long we will be there. Since we wont have a cell phone, I needed to make sure we could get back to downtown using public transportation.
again, thank you all for the information.
