Hotels with "no pets" policy in Vienna, Austria

We are traveling to Vienna in June 2017, and are looking into hotels in the city center but I see that the majority of the properties accept pets. I suffer from allergies and can't stay in a room where dogs or cats have been before... Does anyone knows of a good hotel (4 or 5 starts) in the city center that do not admit pets?

I would appreciate your responses.

Try K&T Boardinghouse, but it's one stop outside the ring at the Neubaugasse underground station. The entrance to the underground is literally across the street. You can be inside the center city in 5 minutes or so.
We first stayed in their original location 18 years ago--which was a short distance away. At the time Rick Steves stayed with them when in the city.
The facilities are impeccably clean, and the rooms are huge. And the price is very reasonable.

You might try booking.com. Use all the filters you want. Then you will have to scroll down the page to find the pet policy.

I recommend you ignore the stars and use the ratings instead. Personally, I only consider 8+ properties. In either case, rooms in the center won't be cheap.

Some places have hypoallergenic rooms. I saw a few others that didn't allow pets at all. Just to be sure, contact the hotels that interest you directly to verify how they handle pets. Sometimes there are only certain rooms where pets are allowed.

By limiting to the city center, you severely cut down your options, so you might want to broaden your search.

Finally, if you haven't been to Austria, it is a very dog friendly country and it's quite common for dogs to be allowed on public transportation, in shops, and in bars and restaurants, sometimes inside and definitely outside. You will probably see lots of them in June. If you are highly allergic to dogs, you might want to consult your doctor about meds for that.

Don't be restricted to the city center (encompassed by the Ring boulevard).
All so called "inner boroughs" (encompassed by the Belt boulevard) are quite near. The center is reachable by public transport easily and very fast (trolleys, subway, busses).

(I know a pet free place where my wife's cousin stayed 2015, but this was an apartment she rented for her visit.)
