Please can you tell me from Salzburg airport where to get the train etc to the Salzburg arena. We need a hotel for 2 nights. 2 twin rooms. We have never been to Austria before and any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks

The Salzburg Airport isn't very far from the center of Salzburg and a short bus ride will take to the town center dropping you off outside of the train station. From there, you can walk to nearby hotels.
I prefer the Rosevilla Hotel very near the center of old town on that side of the river but a short bus trip from the train station is preferable to walking. The Rosevilla Hotel includes a good breakfast in the room rate.
Since the airport is close to the center of town and there are two of you, a taxi is not excessively costly.

there are 4 of us travelling.
is this hotel near the arena? we are booked to go to the concert there

Salzburg Arena is on the north side of the city on the west side of the river. It is a 10 minute taxi ride from the Hbf area, 15 to 20 EUR. Don't know about bus service.
