Hotel for 4 near Innsbruck

Traveling to Munich, Innsbruck (area), Salzburg and Prague March 24- April 4, 2018. Does anyone have suggestions on a hotel in or near Innsbruck for 2 adults and 2 teens (boys)? We would like something outside of the city since we will be in towns the remainder of the trip. Not sure to expect snow or not that time of year, but any suggestions on outdoor activities would also be welcomed! We enjoy nature and viewing wildlife. (I should mention that we are not skiers.) We will have a rental car. Thanks in advance!

There are a lot of holiday apartments in Seefeld in the mountains northwest of Innsbruck and on the "short cut" road from Munich. It is late in the winter season. Whether or not there is snow will depend on how much they got over winter. Since it is tail end of the winter season, should be some available for short stays.

The valley towns around Innsbruck have an enormous number of B&Bs for skiing season. You won't find any place there that is not very clean and nice. See Booking.com.
Another great source of accommodations in Germany and Austria is Bavaria Ben. You can find his website in English on Google or Bing. Go to the bottom and click on Austria. He has fabulous properties listed, and I have always held his opinions on high regard.

Hi,

Our favorite in the Innsbruck area is the Gasthof Badl in Hall in Tirol. We’ve stayed here 5 times! Love, Love, Love it!

Check the Nordkettenbahn funicular-cable car trip. It’s an excellent way to get high up in the alps. The Alpen Zoo May be open, as it’s a stop on the Nordkettenbahn trip.

We always stay in Seefeld at the Hotel Princess Bergfrieden. Our kids absolutely love it and we love the breakfast.
