Hotel (any type) suggestions for Seefeld and St. Wolfgang

Will be in Austria in Sept. and staying in these two towns for about four days each. I posted earlier about the nature of such small towns and received helpful replies. We have decided on Seefeld and St. Wolfgang and, still, I am overwhelmed by the number of accommodations and would love specific recommendations to help narrow the options down. Do you have a few favorites to get me started? Please tell me your picks, no matter what the type or style. Thank you! Ann.

We have stayed at several places in Seefeld in Tirol.

A lot would have to do with your price level, your required amenity level, and if you need to be close to the station or park a car.

We have moved down in price and amenity level in the last few years and that has found us actually closer to the centre.

Our current favourite is Das Hotel Eden where we have stayed for the last 4 years or so.

It is only a 4 Star Superior but gives great service, and best of all it comes across, with the usual Austrian formality, as practically a small family hotel.

It has a small spa attached, with an indoor/outdoor pool and various treatments available, is only less than 5 minutes walk to both the station and the centre, and, best of all fro us, it has a very moderately priced Half Pension rate which includes a really good dinner. Starter, salad buffet, main, pudding, so I guess that is 3 or 4 courses, plus a cheese board. Good Austrian coffee, and many people seem to be enjoying the wine (we don't drink).

Free parking, free apples, very good but compact breakfast. Most rooms have a small balcony. It complies, usually, with our requirement of averaging €100 a night B&B, and the the dinner via the Halbpension is not unaffordable.

If you want a different price point or amenity level I may be able to help there.

Thank you so much Mike and Nigel! Nigel, please provide names of any other hotels that you liked in Seefeld and would stay in again, without considering the cost. I will research them and asses them according to what we want, balancing the pros and cons. Thanks again! Ann.

Dorint Alpin Resort - 5 star superior - across the main road and super with a big spa. I enjoyed the view, the food, the forecourt full of racing cars one day.

Thank you Nigel. I have added it to the list. Am planning to dig into each hotel's website today. I would have enjoyed seeing the race cars too! Ann.
