Has anyone taken the Rick's Steve's tour to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Can someone the me the name off the hotel you stay at in Hallstatt?

When we stayed there on the Alpine tour, I wish I would have spent more time on the lakeside patio enjoying the amazing setting.

We didn’t go with RS but last year we stayed in Hallstatt at Brau-Gastof and it was great, very charming, very old, lovely views. Just make sure you can haul your bags up old winding stairs, no lift. They have a restaurant directly across the street which is great and they serve breakfast. Loved the place.

The RS tours usually stay at the Seehotel Grüner Baum, which is close to the ferry dock - https://www.gruenerbaum.cc/en/ . It's a beautiful hotel but a bit on the posh side so be sure to budget accordingly. If you want something a bit less posh, Gasthof Simony is right next door and I found it to be perfectly comfortable - https://www.gasthof-simony.at/en/ .

I was on the GAS trip in 2018 and we stayed across the lake from Hallstatt (300 meters) at the Dormio Resort Obertraun. We commuted by ferry.
