Good locations to stay in while in Vienna

Ktboardinghouse.at. Great location and price. Huge rooms and spotless. Rick Steves used to stay there when in Vienna.

There are Christmas Markets, not Market, in Vienna. Stay in the first district and you’ll be close to most of the best ones on foot. The markets at Schonbrunn and Belvedere and Altes AKH can be reached easily by tram or subway.

I stayed at Pension Suzanne not too long ago, and would highly recommend it. It's right across the street from the Opera House and an easy walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral.

I stayed at the Hotel Am Stephansplatz in April and it was a lovely experience--big room, very clean and modern décor, excellent breakfast included. Directly across from Stephansdom and steps from the U.

I also have stayed at Pension Suzanne and enjoyed it. The owners are very warm and helpful.
