Hi
We are traveling with friends in a car from Praque to Salzburg to Hallstatt. From Hallstatt we are going to Neuschwanstein and to Innsbrock station on to Italy. Are friends are taking the car back to Vienna from Hallstatt. Any suggestion on where we could get transportation out of Hallstatt to Innsbrock or Neuschwanstein. We would prefer to rental a car. I tired Salzburg with drop off in innsbrock and got a message to change search. Help.

Maybe try Autoeurope to get a quote with pick-up in Salzburg and drop-off in Innsbruck.

I agree about checking with Autoeurope.
You can catch a bus from Hallstadt into Salzburg. Driving west into Germany and south to Innsbruck is a 2 hour drive on autobahns from Salzburg. Neuschwanstein is west and north of Innsbruck and would be a good day trip. You could turn the rental car back in at Innsbruck and take a 2 hr. train ride back into Munich to fly home.

Yes, just checked. Use "all locations" for pick-up and drop-off. Shows Avis near Salzburg Hbf (main station) and drop off at Innsbruck Airport. Take the "F" bus from the airport to Innsbruck Hbf (main station).
