We plan on visiting Salzburg in late May, early June. We are driving from Munich and would like to find a hotel that has free parking. Any suggestions?
Also we plan on touring Hohensalzburg castle, Mirabell palace, Schafburg cog train, Nonnberg abbey, Midieval Burg hoehosterwitz, Salzburg cathedral and Hellbraunn Palace. Can we see these sites in two full days of touring?

I didn't find free parking, but I stayed here and there was parking near by that was a reasonable price. It was oddly in a cave. Ask the hotels that you are looking at about parking. Frankly, for most cities in the US you will pay for parking unless you are out in the burbs. I think it's worth it to pay for the parking and be in town.
