For Viennese classical music experts

I notice that while my father and I will be in Vienna in May, it's the annual concert at the Musikverein by the Webern Symphony Orchestra, the student orchestra of the Vienna music university. Does anyone know if this will be in huge ticket demand? It looks like the best quality concert while we're there.

While I can't judge what the ticket demand will be for this specific program , my experience on numerous occasions , attending concerts at The Musikverein , is that demand is high , in large part due to the inherent cultural awareness of the indigenous audience . While it is a student ensemble , my judgment is that it is at a very high level , much as in any other notable conservatory elsewhere . The program looks good , the playing will be exemplary , and the hall itself is , arguably , the best any where . I would buy tickets now .

Thanks for the recommendation Steven. According to the Musikverein site tickets don't go on sale until early March.

I cannot imagine that this concert would be in any more demand than anything else at the Musikverein.

The performance you mentioned is on April 30th. Did you check other events at Musikverein and Konzerthaus around this date?
