Flying into Austria with direct transfer to Italy

Hi and thanks in advance for any help with these changing rules. We are still forging ahead with our plans to ski the Dolomites in just three weeks! I’m concerned about several details. We have a connecting flight into Innsbruck and have booked taxi transfer directly into Italy due to the current Austrian restrictions. Does anyone know if and how we might need to show proof of this to board our flight from Amsterdam. I haven’t been able to contact the airline directly due to the Christmas holiday rush.
In addition, I’m still confused about if US citizens can obtain a green pass (we are fulled vaccinated with booster). The Italian Covid website doesn’t seems to answer this directly. Any other tips and info would be helpful!
Thank you.

... have booked taxi transfer directly into Italy due to the current Austrian restrictions.

This is kind of irony as the restrictions in Italy are higher than in Austria.

People who are fully vaccinated with a booster shot are free to enter Austria, if they can provide a proof.

For Italy there is a short online questionnaire you should answer. Based on your answers you will be told what you will need for entering Italy: https://infocovid.viaggiaresicuri.it/index_en.html

All this information is valid as of today, i.e. December 26th. Three weeks is a lifetime in Corona times. Rules may change on short notice. Stay informed, the links provided are updated accordingly.

so it is home to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Innsbruck and then crossing the border and all the way to the Dolomites by taxi?

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. Flight from US..connecting flight in Amsterdam to Innsbruck.. then meet vehicle transfer at airport to Castlerotto Italy to ski. It was recommended that Innsbruck was the closest airport before the current restrictions were placed. I have texted Transavia with the same question but no response yet. Thanks for your interest in answering my question.

Thanks, wmt1..
We decided to leave Austria immediately due to info we received from our tour operator a week ago. The links you provided are really helpful and had not found that questionnaire before. I really find it hard to wade through the different sites to find a definitive answer..call my dense. And yes things seem to be changing all the time. We will just have to stay on top of it til the last minute!
Thanks so much for your info and insight!
