We only have 2 days in Salzburg at the end of May so we are spending one day touring around the city but on the second day we would like to take a cable car up a mountain and take an easy hike. We do not have a car, so are looking for a trail that is an hour or less train ride away. We were in the Lauterbrunnen area last year so I'm wondering if there is something similar in the Salzburg area like what we did - trained in from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen and then take funicular up to Murren or train up to Wengen and then cable car to Mannlichen?
