We will be spending our last day in Vienna visiting Belvedere Palace in the afternoon and then walking over to Musikverein for a 7:30 concert. We're looking for someplace nice for our last pre-concert dinner nearby. It doesn't have to be anything formal. We are pescetarian so no meat for us. We would prefer something non-touristy. I would be so grateful if someone could recommend something for us. We'll be there early September, and I have not really researched restaurants.
Thanks so much,
Laurie
I can recommend this place, which is less then 10 minutes to walk to the Musikverein. They have a lot of dishes without meat despite offering the classical Viennese cuisine. A reservation is advised.
Looks wonderful, but unfortunately it's closed on Sundays (I should have mentioned that's when our concert is.) Maybe we'll try it on another evening.
In Vienna a Sunday reduces the possibilities for dining out considerably. Nevertheless, you won't starve.

(In this place the famous "Mnozil Brass" orchestra was founded, hence its name.)

(The website is in German, but the menu has English translations.)

(This one serves Italian cuisine, i.e., real Italian cuisine, not American-Italian cuisine which is perceived as Italian in US.)
I live right next to the Belvedere. I’ll send you a message with my two favorite spots.
