How is the drive via B311 in terms of ease/windiness? thank you.

In Austria everyone learns to drive mountain roads when being in the driving school before taking the exam for the driving license. So there is no specific information about certain roads, you are supposed to cope with it.
As it is a B-road (ranked after A-highways) it should be well maintained and not too narrow.

B311 is easy (runs mostly in the valley), well maintained and on some parts even four lane. I'd however switch to the more scenic B168 in Zell am See and after Mittersill to B165 leading over the Gerlos pass. The Gerlos pass (toll road, €9.50) is of course winding but in excellent condition, and you can visit the beautiful Kriml waterfalls.

Thank you. I was just concerned with motion sickness rather than the actual driving. I should have been more specific!
