Dress code for Mirabell Palace concert

We will be going to a concert at the Marble palace at Mirabell Palace. I have looked at their website , but there isn't any information on dress. There also doesn't seem to be any way to contact them. We plan to bring black pants and black shoes, and wear dress shirts/or blouse, Will my husband need a jacket? He would rather not bring one if he can help it.

Thanks,
Cynthia

I am going on the GAS tour and although I have not been there, I really can assure you that your husband will not need a jacket. Wearing the clothes you mentioned will be just fine. I have been to theatre and Lincoln Center in NYC and you can wear what you like. I have bought tickets to three things in Vienna, an operetta, a string quartet and a symphony and each website said no dress code. Of course you are not going to wear sneakers, flip flops, shorts, tee shirts. You will look very nice and fit in. Have a wonderful time. The GAS tour stays right near the palace. I am looking forward to seeing the gardens. I am sure you will enjoy the concert.
Best, Ann

The HB and I took the GAS tour in 2013 and went to a concert at the Mirabell. I wore a button up collared shirt with a pair of capris and he wore a button up shirt and his travel khaki pants. Most of the people were similarly dressed, and if I remember correctly, no one was wearing a jacket. I think he will be fine without a jacket. I think I wore TEVA sandals and he wore his Merrills. Be comfortable and enjoy! It's a beautiful location!!

When I don't know I try go googling for photos like the one I posted. Then I, as a guest in their country and out of respect, I ignore what I can get away with and shoot for the high end of the average.

Of course you are not going to wear sneakers, flip flops, shorts, tee
shirts.

Why not?
