Hi, I'm trying to figure out the best solution for train travel in Austria and Switzerland. The Switzerland Pass looks unbeatable for access to everything. My question is if we do a 2 country combo pass of Austria and Switzerland do we lose all the secondary features of the Swiss Pass such as free/discounted extras such as travel on boats, gondolas and museum tickets? The combo pass is much less than buying each country separately but the savings diminish once you start losing all those perks.

Thanks everyone. I think for me the Swiss Pass just makes sense and I'll probably do a point to point in Austria since we are mainly going from Vienna to Salzburg and then will be crossing into Switzerland. Just looking at all the options can make one's head spin!
