I am planning a trip to Salzburg with 3 nights of opera performances planned. I haven't found a great many dining options. Does anyone have suggestions???

I really like Stiegl-Keller, which also has a great view out over the city. Also well located if you're attending a concert at the fortress.

The rooftop bar/restaurant at the Hotel Stein has the most beautiful view. It’s on the river with a magnificent view of the fortress. Magical at night when it’s all lit up.

If you’re looking for a more authentic Austrian Biergarten try one of Sternbräu’s Biergartens. We ate at this one, Arkadengarten Sternbräu, but it looks like they have another one and a few indoor restaurants.
