We're staying in Salzburg in late May and our kids (10, 12, & 15) really want to see the Fortress and ice caves in Werfen.
1) I see that there are regular trains between Salzburg and Werfen. How do we get from the Werfen train station to the Fortress? There is a 5 yr old post on this forum that mentions only a 1.2 hr walk to the Fortress from station - ugh!
2) How do we get from one attraction to the other?
3) Both doable in one day without killing ourselves?
