We are trying to Maximize our time in Salzburg. We are only staying 2 nights. Would it be possible to do Bob's Sound of music tour, the Berchtesgaden salt mines and the Eagle's nest all in one day? We will have a car and won't have to rely on public transportation.

Maybe...the Salzbergwerks Saltmine and the Eagles Nest are both timed tickets though. If it's crowded at either you may have to wait. We went to both in July. We had to wait 40 minutes for our saltmine tour. It lasted a little more than an hour but was really worth it! We waited about 20 minutes to get on a bus going up to the Eagle's Nest. Once you get up to the Eagle's Nest you can plan on how much time you want to spend...you have to sign up for a bus time to get back down the hill when you arrive at the top. Then you have to wait in line for an elevator to go up to the building - we waited for about 15 minutes. Plan on at least 30 minutes to see the building (it's not large) and enjoy the views from the path behind it. Then you have to wait in line to go back down the elevator to meet the bus at the time you signed up for when you arrived. The bus ride is about 15 minutes up and about 15 minutes back.

No, it wouldn't be. Seeing all of those venues would take longer than you have, regardless of the time to get from one to another.
