Hi everyone!
We are family of four with kids aged 5 & 8 respectively. We will be visiting Vienna for 4 days in December. Pls suggest if any of Semmering, Rax and Schneeberg is possible and suitable as day trip from Vienna.

You can take a direct train to Semmering (1h 15m). Check www.bahn.com.

Please use the actual website of Austrian Rail - https://www.oebb.at/en/ - and not Germany’s website as mentioned above for fares and schedules.
I am guessing you are from a warmer climate and want to show your children snow? If so, the ski resorts in Semmering make the most sense. Stuhleck and Zauberberg are the two resorts and both have websites. Please dress your children appropriately.
