Greetings
We are traveling from Vienna to Hallstatt in May and would like to do the Danube cruise. My plan was to travel to Melk, drop off luggage, then do the cruise. We may also want to rent bikes somewhere along the way to bike on the trip.
- Is this better as a day trip from Vienna or is Melk a good one night stay (I figured it is part way to Hallstatt where we will travel the next day).
- Can you get on and off the cruise ship if you have a bike to travel a bit and pick it up at the next stop?
