Cozy lodging: Salzburg and Innsbruck

I've been so lucky in my international travels to have been able to find hidden immersive gems like family run B&Bs where I was the only guest and looked after like a grandchild or staying in converted churches. The cultural, familial piece is just amazing. Is there anything cozy and family driven that would work for a family of 3 in either Innsbruck or Salzburg? (Kiddo is 4y/o). I mean, my ideal would be to bunk with an actual local family but that would be pretty rare! :)

I'm not concerned about the demeanor, but we will only be traveling by train and want to still explore the city so it has to be something close to the city for transport.

I like these places in Salzburg -

And look at these places in Innsbruck -

I also want to suggest that you consider staying in the Wolfgangsee area instead of Salzburg and in the Seefeld area instead of Innsbruck. Both of these areas are easily reached by public transportation from these two cities, making a full day trip to Salzburg and Innsbruck very easy. You can then sleep in the true Austrian countryside.

In the Wolfgangsee, you find the village of Strobl with these lovely places - https://www.farmholidays.com/en/accommodations/stadlmannbauer?

In Seefeld, we love to visit Leutasch Gorge and Mittenwald. The town of Seefeld also have an amazing swimming complex. We stay at the Hotel Princess Bergfrieden. A superstar place for us. https://princess-bergfrieden.at/
